Aquila's Nest Vineyards' selection of wines are inspired by women of mythology and astronomy. Each of their wines are branded with the image of a constellation, the name of a woman drawn from an ancient Mediterranean myth, the inscription of a wisdom Latin phrase translated in English in the back of the label, as well as a unique wine cup design of the story that brings all these elements together. Aquila’s Nest Vineyards is a climate neutral, experience-focused vineyard and event venue, offering a selection of the finest Connecticut wines, perched high on a hill top with sweeping views of rolling vineyards, and a spectacular sunset, located in a 40 acre estate in Sandy Hook - Newtown, CT, established in 2016 and opened to the public in 2020.
Aquila's Nest Vineyards stems from the love story of two engineers, Neviana Zhgaba and Ardian Llomi. Aquila's Nest's mission extends far beyond producing hand-hand crafted wines that express the unique spirit of the land, vines and people as they seek to bring people together to enjoy and savor life through unique and immersive wine experiences, all while being a Climate Neutral Certified business!
